It’s one of the few plug-ins here to be RTAS and AAX compatible (as well as AU and VST like the others) and is a 450MB download ’Lite’ version of a 3.6GB full model of a Fender Precision bass, but still gives you a great ballsy bass sound. I think I will eventually grab the tb3 though because it sounds decent and is performance oriented which is perfect for what I want it for for gigs. You’ll need a big bass sound to hand your rock track on and Ample Bass Precision LITE delivers just that. AND the soft synths are literally the same thing as the Roland boutiques, which makes me feel bad for people who have dropped the cash (>200$) on the physicals. I mean I guess it IS an okay thing for 19.99 a month with access to the soft synth versions of Jup8, Sh101, Juno, 808,909, 303 and others, but it rubs me the wrong way that we can't outright purchase the vsts.

So I'm waiting a few months to see what Roland does and in the mean time getting notifications for good condition used tb3's under 150$.ĮDIT - also, just my experience with 3 free 30 day trials, 45% I wouldn't even be able to update of download the vsts from the Roland Cloud software hub you have to download as I would get error messages " * Roland cloud is experiencing network errors and is down right now*" so that has really turned me off of the cloud service as well. Another problem I'm having is debating the straight up purchase of the tb3, which would be my first hardware synth and there's just as many pros as there is cons. Hopefully soon though as the official Roland cloud version of the 303 is hands down the best 303 vst out there. I mean a few months of the subscription, I could've outright bought a tb3 or tb03. I'm really hoping in the next few months they will offer an outright purchase option for the 303, because as of running out of my free 30 day trial, I can't bring myself to do the subscription service so that I can RENT the vsts, I want to be able to own it.

I'm quite tempted to go this route, but i do not want another monthly payment, i don't care how much value it is.
